SUNDAY SCHOOL
CHANGE FOR CHICKS
Don't Forget to save your change. We are
purchasing chicks. This program will
continue throughout the summer. As of
now :
April Collection - $ 23.88
This year the Sunday School children will
be collecting change to purchase chicks.
These chicks will be used in a food relief
program similar to the "Heifer Project."
Our chicks are for a small village in
Guatemala called Coban.
"Your change can make a change"
Rockwood and Parkway school days are
fast approaching and so will St. Thomas
Sunday School. Parents and Students
mark your calendars St. Thomas will begin
the new program on Sunday September
13 at 9 am. The programs we have
planned could be for all ages of young
people. If you don’t know everything you
want to know about the bible, consider St.
Thomas Sunday School. The session will
be “Learning Your Way Through the
Bible”. There will be bible study, stories,
crafts, food, music, and computer work.
Students do you remember the summer
assignments? The CHANGE FOR CHICKS
will be coming to a close at the end of
summer. We are planning a Chicken
Salad lunch, rolls, watermelon and
cookies on Sunday September 13 , after
church following worship. We are hoping
to be able to buy many chicks for the
people in
Guatemala. Baskets will be provided for
the last donation for the chicks.
