We are St. Thomas UCC a caring faith community welcoming all to share with us. You will find us
supportive, nurturing, and encouraging. Our worship is traditional yet contemporary applying
scripture and Christ’s teachings to everyday life. Accepting all who come as family, we are St.

Grand opening rescheduled for the
               Circle of Concern

Circle is lucky in many ways,; not only
do we have a wonderful new facility, but
more importantly we are ecstatic that
Glenn Koenen is with us after suffering
a heart
attack at his daughters graduation
ceremony on May 16th. After surgery in
Des Moines, Glenn returned to St.
Louis for
recovery. We are all grateful for the
kind thoughts from everyone during this
ordeal.

Due to this unexpected incident, the
Grand
Opening was cancelled and will be
rescheduled for September 27th. Stay
tuned for more details!

Circle needs donations of supplies to
help
outfit young people for the new school
year.

Yellow post-it notes



Circle is also accepting gifts to cover
the cost of $15 discount store gift cars
which will be given to families to help.
Items can be dropped off at Circle
during regular business hours. School
supplies need to get to circle by
Monday August 3 so that volunteers
can sort the donations and pack the
bags for 500+ kids. On Saturday
morning August 8th kids and
parents will pick up the supplies. Again
this year, friends at Twin Oaks
Presbyterian Church are sharing their
space for this important project.
On Wednesday July 8th, Glenn Koenen had a pacemaker put in. He is doing well and back at the
office on Friday July 10th. Keep him in your prayers.
       We at St. Thomas are so blesses, so please keep bringing the food items for the grocery
basket on the lower level.         
       ALSO the back to school items need to be at church on Sunday August 2nd, and they will
be delivered to Circle on Monday.

       Thank you for your lovely singing
to us for the 4th of July. We enjoyed it
