2008 UCC Habitat House

This year we will be building in St. Louis close to the site
of the 2004 Blitz Build. Our house will be on Sheridan
near Martin Luther King.

This year we will have additional build opportunities for
those who want to work on a second day. A couple from
Kirkwood UCC is sponsoring their own house and has
asked the congregations of UCC Habitat House to
supply workers for many of their build days. This 2nd
house will be next door to the UCC house. Our house
leaders, Jim Kennedy and John Behl, have agreed to be
the house leaders for this 2nd house.

St. Thomas has been scheduled to work on Saturday
August 9. We may be doing exterior work of paint and
trim work inside depending on how the work is
progressing. Zion UCC will be building on the house
next door that same day. Habitat for Humanity-St. Louis
will provide the lunch and water.

Additional workers are needed for two pre-build days,
May 17 and June 14, to prepare the sub-floor and
exterior walls before the 4-day blitz build July 9-12. If you
